We are extremely proud to announce that Ci™ has won the UK Safety Innovation Award at this year’s Electrical Product Safety Conference.
Up against stiff competition from Vodafone and BSI, our Ci™ STOP technology was the judges favourite entry and Electrical Safety First’s Technical Director, Martyn Allen, had this to say:
“Connected Innovations’ entry was the judges unanimous choice of award winner. We believe the company has developed a product and system which could make a major contribution to reducing electrical fires and would be a significant safety protection measure if established in tower blocks. We developed this award to recognise businesses who put safety at the heart of their work, while incorporating sustainability and innovation, and Connected Innovations certainly ticked all the boxes.”
The day itself was attended by over 200 industry professionals, and Ci™ were amongst seven exhibitors in the Hoare memorial hall. Our stand drew much interest from conference attendees, which included representatives from the London Fire Brigade and many well-known appliance manufacturers, as we showcased our Ci™ STOP technology and our Ci™ FIREMAP concept. The Ci™ team were on-hand to answer any questions and many notable industry connections were made.
After the announcement that we were the winners of this year’s award, we partook in a live Q&A session on the main stage which allowed us to introduce the company and our technology to the conference audience.
